In this blog, we will take a closer look at chemical pallets.

Advantages of CP pallets

The use of CP pallets has many advantages. Above all, they are safe, strong and durable, which are important factors for many sectors. Below, we will discuss the main advantages of chemical pallets, which can play a role in your choice of CP pallets. Also, view our full range of pallets.

Safety

The main reason for choosing this type of pallet is safety. CP pallets are resistant to chemicals and other hazardous substances. With the use of chemical pallets, the risk of leaks, breakage and instability is reduced. This is necessary in the chemical industry because safety is paramount here.

High load capacity

A CP pallet is very strong and suitable for carrying heavy loads. In general, chemical pallets are sturdier than standard Euro pallets. The load capacity differs per chemical pallet. The CP1 pallet to the CP5 pallet has a dynamic load capacity of 1000 kilograms. The types CP6 pallet to CP9 pallet have a higher load capacity, namely 1500 kilograms.

Durability

Chemical pallets have a long service life. Because they are resistant to chemical substances and heavy loads, they can easily be used several times. CP pallets are made of wood and can therefore also be easily repaired. This extends the lifespan and also saves costs. Buying used CP pallets is a sustainable choice, contributing to a circular economy.

ISPM 15 treated

In our webshop, we offer new wooden chemical pallets in addition to used CP pallets. These are HT-treated, or they have undergone a heat treatment. This means that they comply with the ISPM 15 standard and can be used for export outside the EU without any problems. Would you like to know more about this process? Then also read our blog about pallet drying, HT treatment & ISPM 15 certification.

Standardized dimensions

There are 9 different types, CP1 to CP9, which ensure standardisation and simplification of logistics. Each type has specific dimensions and applications. Thanks to the standardisation of wood dimensions, they are attractively priced and also suitable for pooling. CP pallets can easily be operated with a forklift or pallet truck.

Reuse of chemical pallets

The reuse of chemical pallets contributes to a circular economy and a more sustainable future, and we absolutely encourage that. At Rotomshop, we try to reduce the impact on the environment, help you make your supply chain as sustainable as possible and strive for a sustainable future.

That is why, in addition to new CP pallets, we also offer used chemical pallets on our webshop. These are pallets that are reused and are still functional for the logistics sector. Robust chemical pallets can be used frequently without compromising performance. That is why they are also very suitable for pooling. Buying a used CP pallet is a sustainable choice.
